Glimpse of Nepal

Spend a week experiencing Nepal's variety of climate zones, cultures and geography - from the grassy lowlands of the Terai, home to Asian elephants and one-horned rhinoceros, to Lumbini, birth place of the Buddha Siddhartha Gautam, to the beautiful Himalayan lakeside setting of Pokhara. This trip will include venturing into the jungles in Chitwan National Park on a guided safari, and a chance to see great swathsof the Nepalese countryside on the road to Lumbini. We'll visit the Buddha's birthplace and surroundingmonasteries in the peaceful setting of Lumbini before heading of to Pokhara, Nepal's most popular lakeside holiday spot, where we'll paddle around the lake and enjoy the majestic mountain views. We'll endthe trip in Nagarkot, a charming town on the eastern rim of Kathmandu Valley, from where the epicsunrise over the Indrawati Valley is said to be one of the best in the region.


Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu. 

Leisure time. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2: Drive to Chitwan.

  Half day jungle activities. Overnight in hotel.

Day 3: Full day of sightseeing in Chitwan. 

Overnight in hotel.

Day 4: Drive to Lumbini. 

Half day sightseeing in Lumbini. Overnight in hotel.

Day 5:Full day of sightseeing in Lumbini.

Overnight in hotel.

Day 6: Drive to Pokhara. 

Half day sightseeing in Pokhara. Overnight in hotel.

Day 7: Full day of sightseeing in Pokhara. 

Overnight in hotel.

Day 8: Drive to Nagarkot. 

Overnight at hotel.

Day 9: Enjoy sunset in Nagarkot and return to Kathmandu.
