Nepal Cultural Tour
To make Nepal familiar with globally, we are conducting a FAM Trip to Nepal. This first hand quality travel experience trip is designed for travel professionals to get insight of culture, heritage and scenic grandeur of the country. This enables you to see firsthand exactly what goes on and gives you a genuine feel for the place so that you can recommend it to your customers.
Day 01 (March 01, 2016):Arrive in KathmanduYou will be greeted by our representative at the arrival area and provided hotel transfer. In the evening, we will visit a traditional Nepalese restaurant for a fine meal accompanied by folk music and a cultural program.
Day 02 (March 02, 2016): Kathmandu Sightseeing, drive to Dhulikhel (32 km, 1 hour drive)While in Kathmandu fascinating Buddhist and Hindu temples and shrines reflecting ancient local traditions are highlighted on our guided tour. We’ll spend the day exploring several of the city’s most famous cultural landmarks like Bouddhanath – Nepal’s largest and most revered Buddhist Stupa, Swayambhunath also known as The Monkey Temple and Kathmandu Durbar Square with Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Kumari Ghar and other age old monuments scattered around the vicinity. Later leave the hustle of bustle of the city and drive countryside to Dhulikhel in time to savor the sunset panorama.
Day 03 (March 03, 2016): Morning activities and drive to Chitwan (180 km, 5 hour drive)Get mesmerized very early in the morning with magnificent sunrise view over the Himalayas! Take an breakfast before a drive to Chitwan. Hotel check in and refreshments followed by an introduction to the park and its wildlife. After the briefing visit an elephant breeding center and take a village walk before an evening dinner with cultural program.
Day 04 (March 04, 2016): Wildlife SafariAnother early morning breakfast before our jungle excursion on the back of an elephant! Later we enjoy the sights from a canoe ride and then complete the experience with a jungle walk.
Day 05 (March 05, 2016): Morning ctivities and drive to Sarangkot (170 km, 05 hour drive)Enjoy the early morning bird watching tour followed by breakfast and departure drive to Sarangkot – a ridge top village that offers an unsurpassed panorama of the Himalaya and Pokhara Valley. Take in the unforgettable sunset with views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), the Annapurna Range and Hiuchuli.
Day 06 (March 06, 2016): Pokhara TourEnjoy the sunrise views from Sarangkot and after breakfast we hike down to Pokhara for a full day sightseeing ahead including Bindabasini Temple, Old Bazaar, Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, Seti Gorge and Tibetan Refugee Camps. We will boat on Phewa Lake, the second largest lake of Nepal. An hour’s walk up the other side of the lake is the World Peace Pagoda. Evening explore the surrounding lakeside and shopping areas.
Day 07 (March 07, 2016): Morning drive to Bandipur: 85 km, 2 hour driveAfter breakfast then drive through the scenic highway to Bandipur – a hilltop town situated on Mahabharat range. This picturesque town is renowned for its preserved old time cultural atmosphere, provincial architecture, interesting walks, astounding views, and warm and amazingly friendly people. Bandipur and its hinterland offer a glimpse into village life and a chance to partake in the typical laid-back lifestyle of the middle hills of Nepal.
Day 08 (March 08, 2016): Morning activities and drive to Kathmandu: 145 km, 5 hour driveEnjoy the vicinity of Bandipur before a departure drive to Kathmandu with views of the Trisuli River and splendid scenery of the countryside and terraced farmland.
Day 09 (March 09, 2016): Final DepartureTake care of any last minute shopping or sightseeing as time permits. We hope that you enjoyed your journey! Our representative will transfer you to the airport approximately 3 hours ahead of your flight time. We bid you farewell and hope to see you in Nepal again, soon.
